Macrat Publishing is a small teacher-run business providing learner-centred teacher-support resources to schools in South Africa. More than ever before, South Africa needs skilled, thinking, creative school leavers – and it is this need that is central to Macrat’s philosophy.

Our aim is not only to provide quality resources for teachers, but also to save them valuable time and possibly inspire them. All our material is written by experienced teachers and examiners who know what learners really need to pass and excel. Macrat’s learner workbooks encourage critical thinking while providing an excellent tool for study and revision.

Macrat publishes resources for High School English, Arts and Culture and Life Orientation, and offers a limited range for Primary School teachers and learners.
